There's a new Screen Recording option in the customizable settings. That means you no longer need another app. Just add the option to your Control Center, then tap on the icon to start recording.
If you Touch on the flashlight icon in the Control Center, you'll get three intensity options (low, medium, high) there's a fourth one.

But it seems that the company is finally changing that by adding QR code support to probably the native camera application in iOS 11. Lastly - no more bother with third party apps once a year when you need to scan a QR code.
Apple is expanding its use in iOS 11 in other ways, too. It seems to serve as a shortcut to the "Look Up" function, which allows users get a quick set of definitions or related web search results for a highlighted word or phrase. 3D Touch is also getting more integration in iMessage, with an ability to share URLs with the feature.
