Honor 7X smartphone to launch on October 11
Honor 6X is ten months old at this time, so we are due for a new device in the budget series. Fortunately, we do not have to wait long to find out what's in store, Honor 7X will be making its debut on October 11.
We know a few things about the Honor 7X, the phone will have an 18:9 display, such as the Galaxy S8 and LG G6. Honor rolled out dual cameras in Honor 6X before this year and by making the move to a bezel less screen, the manufacturer continues to make sure that its budget devices are sufficiently diverse from the rest of the package.
As for the rest of the specifications, the Honor 7X is set to offer a
- 5.93-inch display with a 2160 x 1080 resolution.
- 4GB RAM, 64GB and 128GB storage.
- octa-core Kirin 659 SoC with four 2.36GHz Cortex A53 cores and four A53 cores at 1.7GHz.
The phone comes with a dual camera configuration at the back, but right now there’s no details on the sensors. It’s likely we’ll see a 16MP primary camera along with a 2MP camera, but we’ll have to wait a day to find out what Honor has in store. Honor 7X will be running EMUI 5.0 based on Android 7.0 Nougat. There will be several variants of the device aimed at international markets, and we should be hearing more about them in a day’s time.
